I was very sorry to hear about Alan. Such a shocking loss. I've kind of lost track of the Ireys through the years, but we are distant relatives & I remember Alan from childhood. My thoughts and prayers are with you, that you find comfort & peace.

Was so sorry to hear this news. Had kind of lost track of Alan through the years, but I remember him as being a really good guy with a kind heart. Loving thoughts and prayers to all his family and extended families. (Ireys/Schneiders = so many good people!)

At a time like this words seem so scarce for me to try to express my condolences. I can only say that Alan was one of the nicest, giving, fun loving people I have ever met. Every time I was at your house you and Alan treated me like royalty and I found out that you treat everyone that way. Through life there are a handful of people that make a big impression on you and Alan was one of those people in my life. Alan you will be missed and never can you be replaced. I'm sure that Heaven is a more fun with you being there.

I was so very sorry to hear about Alan getting hurt, and now his death. It is so unfair to you and the girls, Brenda, and to the whole family. I wish there was something I could say to make it better. I hope you know that you and the family were the best and most important thing in Alan's life. Going forward, I hope you can all remember all the good times with him, the warmth, the jokes, and those memories continue to give you the happiness that memories of you always gave Alan.
